Give every enquiry a clear next step.
A prompt acknowledgement, a clear follow-up process and a monthly report of what happened to your enquiries. I set it up, I run it, you get on with the job.
SCOPE AND TERMS AGREED BEFORE WORK STARTS
Privacy-first by design. Your customers’ data stays yours.
The work was already yours.
Somebody decided to ring you. You paid for that somewhere, whether it was the van sign, the listing, or a customer putting your name forward. Then it went nowhere.
The call you couldn't take
You're under a boiler, up a ladder or driving. It rings out. If they don't leave a voicemail or try again, you can lose the chance to find out what they needed.
The quote nobody chased
You sent it. They said they'd have a think. Three weeks later you can't remember if you chased it, and neither can they.
The form nobody read
Website enquiries land in an inbox you check in the evening, if you check it at all. By then they've had two replies from someone quicker.
The month you can't account for
You know roughly how busy you were. You don't know how many people got in touch, how many got a reply, or which turned into paid work.
One service. Three promises.
Not a menu to pick from. One process, set up and run for you.
A prompt first acknowledgement
An automatic acknowledgement on your connected channels, including text-back for eligible missed calls. Someone at your business handles the conversation that follows.
Follow-up with a clear stopping point
Follow-up runs on an agreed schedule, with a limit on attempts. It stops when a reply, booking, decline or opt-out is recorded.
You can see what happened
A monthly report of what came in, what got answered and what turned into paid work, including the ones nobody got back to.
Is this actually for you?
Worth two minutes now instead of thirty on a call that was never going anywhere.
Worth a conversation
- Enquiries are coming inEnough people get in touch that losing some of them actually costs you money.
- Some of them go coldYou reply to plenty the same day. It's the busy weeks where they slip.
- You have room to growIf more work landed next month, you could take it on.
- Someone can pick up repliesYou, or someone in the office, handles the ones that need a human.
Probably not yet
- Barely anyone gets in touchYour problem is getting enquiries, not handling them. That's a different fix, and I'll say so.
- You are already flat outWith no capacity for more work, faster replies just create disappointed customers.
- Nobody is free to replyThis gets enquiries to a person quickly. Without that person, it will show you the problem rather than solve it.
- You want it fully hands-offIt isn't an answering service. It does the chasing, you do the talking.
This only works if someone replies.
Every enquiry reaches you with a clear next step, and gets chased so nothing goes quiet. It doesn't answer for you. You need one person, with someone to cover them, who picks up the ones that need a human and marks jobs won or lost.
If that person doesn't exist, you'll see exactly how many enquiries are going cold. Useful, but it won't win you the work. Better you hear that now than three months in.
How you’ll know it’s working.
One setup fee, then one monthly fee.
No tiers to work out, nothing to upgrade to. The audit confirms your exact figure before you commit to anything.
From £1,500 setup, then £650 a month
Missed-call text-back, form capture, automatic acknowledgement, follow-up that stops when it should, and your monthly report. Monitoring and support are included.
Software and messaging charges are itemised in the proposal, alongside support hours, included allowances and any minimum term. Additional work is quoted for approval.
I'm taking on a few first clients at a reduced setup fee, in exchange for being able to publish the results.
Not a trade? The problem is the same.
My initial outreach focuses on UK trades and home services. The enquiry problem can occur elsewhere too: people get in touch, the person best placed to answer is busy, and some enquiries go cold.
Suitable businesses in other sectors and countries are welcome to enquire. I check the tools, customer information and messaging requirements for each setup before confirming availability.
Whatever you do, get in touch. If it isn't a fit I'll tell you on the call rather than sell you something that won't help.
